Whether it’s the Easter Egg Hunt at the Park, the Chicken BBQ or the 3rd of July Pizza in the Park, chances are you’ve seen the East Aurora Kiwanis Club hard at work in our community. Each year, Kiwanis members gather together to come up with creative ways to raise money for our youth. We have several events committees that manage to pull together bigger and better ideas every year. Year after year we display successful execution of the event as well as ways to provide better services for the community and our environment overall! Here are a few ways we have earned funding while spreading community support and camaraderie.

East Aurora Kiwanis Club Annual Chicken BBQ– Our Club has been running this very successful annual event for several decades. In its peak years, East Aurora Kiwanis Members cooked, packaged and sold over 6000 Chicken Dinners to the local community. We couldn’t do it without the help of our ticket partners, Middle School Student Council, Middle School Builder’s Club, High School KEY Club and all the teachers and advisors! Thank you East Aurora!

Kiwanis Member Steak Roasts at The Legion Post
East Aurora Kiwanis Members Steak Roast– Members join together in a social setting to cook, network and share laughs. Not intended to be a fundraiser, in recent years has had generous donors and 50/50 recipients that give back.
Dinner Drive-thru during Covid
Christmas Dinner Drive-Thru. -We partnered with The Roycroft in 2020 to provide tasty meals while fundraising and spreading community cheer in a safely social distanced setting. Accolades from Aurora Community Environmental Group- We strive to help in multiple ways. During our fundraisers we try to support other community efforts and were recognized for changing to environmentally friendly packaging during our Fish and Chicken events in 2019.
