Aktion Club is the newest member of the sponsored organizations at Kiwanis International! Aktion Club is a community-service group for adult citizens who live with a disability. Aktion Clubs draw members from various organizations that support individuals with disabilities, as well as other community programs. In East Aurora our Aktion members range from community leaders, family of the disabled and local group homes. They organize events such as baseball games and service projects like helping East Aurora Kiwanis Club with their fundraisers. If you’d like to learn more about this amazing team and the fun things they’re doing please click here!
The East Aurora Middle School Offers community service projects through the efforts of the kids. They may take on a project such as fixing a park bench or in making Valentines for our Seniors at a local nursing home.
The East Aurora High School Key Club is dedicated to community support and finding ways to impact the world in a positive way. Each year they decide as a team what community challenges need to be tackled and they do complete their mission successfully. Whether it’s collecting donations for the Buffalo City Mission or helping East Aurora Kiwanis at their annual fundraisers, these students are always there!
