East Aurora Kiwanis has been holding our Chicken BBQ since 1955. Back in the day it was a public BBQ where friends, family and neighbors could gather in the park and enjoy a meal together and catch up on everything going on around town. In the late 80’s it grew to over 6,000 dinners and marked the beginning of summer. Even 70 years later (we missed one during Covid) it’s still the big one to kick off the summer! Join us June 4th!
What is the 2025 Goal? For our 100th Year Celebration we’ve committed to 3,000 Chicken Dinners.
How much are the Tickets? Dinner Tickets are the same price as last year at $17 each. You get chicken, coleslaw, chips, roll, Hostess Cupcake and drink! Dine-in or Take-out
Where can I buy Tickets? Tickets are available from our partners at The Bank of Holland, East Aurora Advertiser, Larwood Pharmacy, Rahn Jewelers, Bennett, DiFilippo, Kurtzhalts, Whittemore & Seibold or any of our members listed here. You can also buy online here.
Why do you count on pre-sale so much? Pre-sale is so important to us because we have to commit to the number of dinners ahead of time. Every dinner we don’t sell takes away from the work we do in the community. That’s one less backpack we can fill for the ROC, or one less child who will get to experience summer camp because his family can’t afford it and so many other donations this fundraiser supports.
Do you Deliver? Yes, we’ll have members available to deliver orders of 5 or more in a 10 mile radius. Just let us know when you buy your tickets.
How can I be a part of Kiwanis? Our Kiwanis Club is woven into this community. It’s because of our amazing members, generous partners and big-hearted community that we get to celebrate our 100th Year. Our motto has always been that “you give what you can when you can and we don’t judge.” If you’re not sure, come to one of our member meetings the third Thursday of the month at 12:15 at Wallenwein’s or talk to one of our members about why they joined.
